Clamp-in valve for TPMS sensors in commercial vehicles

The straight 50MS truck valve is designed for wheels of vehicles equipped with a direct tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It is suitable for trucks, buses, trailers, and semi-trailers where a durable, airtight, and operationally resistant connection between the valve, rim, and TPMS sensor is required.

The valve is designed for rims with a valve hole diameter of 9.7 mm (+0.3 mm). Unlike angled versions, the 40MS model features a straight valve stem, allowing installation in rims where the valve end does not require an offset.

Brass construction

The valve body is made of brass, a material widely used in truck valves due to its good mechanical strength, pressure resistance, and durability in daily operation. The metal construction ensures stable valve mounting in the rim and reliable sealing under typical commercial vehicle operating conditions.

Clamp-in design

The 50MS valve features a clamp-in construction. The valve stem is inserted through the rim hole and then mechanically secured using a nut and sealing components.

30° sensor mounting angle

The sensor-side base of the valve is specially shaped so that the TPMS sensor mounting screw is positioned at a 30° angle. This design allows correct positioning of the sensor in relation to the valve and the inside of the rim.

The TPMS sensor is mounted using an M6 Torx TX20 screw with washer. The valve is compatible with the CUB TPMS Truck 2.0 Uni-Sensor. It may also be compatible with other TPMS sensors mounted in the same way (e.g. Hamaton EU-PRO Truck 1.0), provided they meet the structural requirements of the valve and rim.

• straight valve stem,
• valve nut for size 16 wrench,
• rubber seals,
• valve insert,
• metal cap with seal,
• M6 Torx TX20 screw with washer for TPMS sensor mounting.

Application

The 50MS valve is designed for installation in truck rims equipped with direct TPMS systems. It can be used when replacing a damaged valve, installing a new TPMS sensor, or preparing an additional wheel set – as a replacement for valves such as:

• Alcoa 45MS
• Wonder 1353
• Wonder 1313

Thanks to its metal construction, nickel-plated surface, straight stem, and clamp-in mounting design, the valve provides durable installation, reliable sealing, and high resistance to operating conditions typical for commercial vehicles.
