Steel adapter for mounting grinding wheels in drills and cordless drills

The adapter is designed for mounting grinding wheels and abrasive tools used, among others, for rubber processing and tire buffing. It allows the installation of grinding wheels with a 3/8" threaded hole, as well as wheels with a standard, non-threaded 3/8" mounting hole.

The adapter is made of steel and protected with a zinc coating, which increases surface resistance to corrosion and helps keep the tool in good condition during workshop use.

Universal grinding wheel mounting

The threaded part of the adapter allows grinding wheels with a 3/8" threaded hole to be screwed on directly. For grinding wheels with a non-threaded 3/8" hole, the wheel should be placed on the threaded part of the mandrel and secured with a nut and washer.

This solution makes it possible to use different types of grinding wheels used in tire service workshops, including flat, disc, cup-shaped, plate-type and other abrasive tools with a suitable mounting hole.

11 mm hex section for wrench use

The adapter has a hex section designed to be held with an 11 mm open-end or ring spanner. This makes it easier to counter-hold the adapter when tightening the nut that secures a grinding wheel with a non-threaded 3/8" hole, and also helps when loosening the nut later.

This design allows the grinding wheel to be securely fixed on the threaded part of the adapter and makes tool changes easier during workshop use.
