Ring grinding wheel for tire buffing 51x6.5 mm, grit K18, tungsten carbide, 3/8"-24 thread - STIX
Ring Tire Buffing Wheel 51 × 6.5 mm – Grit 18, Tungsten Carbide
Professional ring grinding wheel for intensive rubber processing
Segmented ring grinding wheel designed for intensive tire buffing in vulcanization processes. The tool is suitable for preparing rubber surfaces before repair, patch application and other operations requiring effective removal of the outer oxidized or contaminated material layer.
The use of tungsten carbide abrasive grain ensures high durability and highly effective rubber cutting performance. Grit 18 provides aggressive operation, suitable for fast material removal and surface preparation before further repair stages.
Applications
- intensive buffing of tubeless tires before repair
- surface preparation for bonding and vulcanization
- removing oxidized rubber, contamination and material residues
- service work in tire repair and vulcanization workshops
Working design
The segmented wheel design with cut-outs around the circumference helps remove abraded material and improves cooling of the working area. This shape helps reduce clogging with rubber and lowers the risk of overheating or scorching the processed surface.
The ring shape provides stable tool guidance and effective tire surface processing. Abrasive grain placed on the outer segments allows fast, aggressive buffing while maintaining good control during operation.
Mounting
The wheel features a 3/8"-24 threaded hole for mounting on a compatible adapter / mandrel.
