Reliable Impact Sockets
The SERIES 10 set includes 35 impact sockets 1/2", specially designed for use with pneumatic impact wrenches. It also works excellently with gear-driven wrenches, known as "planetary" wrenches. STT CR-MO sockets are highly recommended for automotive workshops.
1/2" Square Drive
The sockets can be used with pneumatic or cordless impact wrenches with a 1/2" square drive. The well-shaped connection part between the socket and the wrench shaft makes replacement easier and reduces wear on the holder. The sockets can be secured on the wrench with a ball retainer or a pin and ring, depending on the wrench design.
Durable CrMo Steel
The STT CR-MO SERIES 10 sockets handle impact and heavy loads well—they are made from a special CrMo (chromium-molybdenum) steel used in the production of high-quality drills and wrenches. Chromium and molybdenum as alloying elements increase the tools' resistance to wear, as well as high temperatures and corrosion.
35 Sockets in the Set
The SERIES 10 set consists of 35 hexagonal impact sockets in both long and short sizes:
- Long sockets (15 pcs): 10, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 27, 30, 32 mm,
- Short sockets (20 pcs): 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 30, 32 mm.
Long and Short Sockets
The long sockets are 78 mm in length. The SERIES 10 set also includes short sockets, measuring 38 mm. The longer sockets enable access to deeper bolts or nuts. The specially shaped CR-MO socket profile reduces the risk of slipping on slightly rounded nuts and bolt heads. Wall thicknesses vary from 3.8 to 4.8 mm, depending on the socket size. The design of the sockets ensures optimal strength and reduces vibration during use.
Clear Marking
The socket sizes are permanently marked with laser engraving and the manufacturer’s logo.
Practical Case
The sockets are stored in a plastic case for easy storage and transportation.
