Impact socket long 1/2'' STT-S17 (CR-MO / 17 mm)
Mounting square 1/2"
The STT sockets can be used with air spanners (also impact spanners), geared spanners and other spanners with 1/2" shank size (fits e.g. STIX STT series impact spanners). The specially shaped connecting part between the socket and the spanner shaft makes it easier to change the socket and reduces wear on the handle. The sockets can be locked onto the spanner with a ball catch or with a pin and ring (depending on the design of the spanner).
High-strength CR-MO steel
The socket is made from a special variety of chrome-molybdenum steel, used in the production of top-quality drills and spanners. The use of chromium and molybdenum as alloying additives increases the steel's resistance to impact and wear, as well as to high temperatures and the effects of corrosion.
Comfortable to work with
The socket's length of 78 mm and thin walls (approx. 4 mm) make it easier to reach screws that are difficult to access. The hexagonal, convex profile of the socket has been specially shaped to reduce the risk of skipping on rounded heads. The design of the socket ensures optimum force and reduces vibration levels during use.
Clear marking
The sockets are permanently marked - the size of each socket has been laser engraved. In addition, they are marked with part numbers and the manufacturer's logo.
