Hartmetal Carbide Cutter is a cord cutter designed for machining tire damage after so-called "nail" punctures. These cutters allow careful cleaning and proper calibration of the hole before repair. With STIX brand cutters, you can effectively remove the remains of rubber and steel cord from the puncture site in a way that guarantees a perfect fit of the repair pin to the hole. The cutters will find application for both passenger car and truck tires.

STIX cord cutters have a mounting arbor milled on three sides into a triangular shape. This makes them compatible with high-speed chucks or the so-called Jacobs chuck. They are mainly recommended for use on drills and grinders with speeds up to 2,500 rpm.
