Reliable notching machine

The PS-15 Truckstar Plus notcher is an ideal device for regrooving treads in truck and trailer tires. If the tires used in these vehicles are labeled "Regroovable ", it is then possible to deepen the tread with a cutting machine. Such procedure extends the life of the tire. Therefore, the PSO brand scissors can be used in any tire service center, as well as in a transport company wishing to reduce costs.

The head allows to mount and use all types of cutters with full heating power - type R (from R1to R5) and type C (from C1 to C6).

500 W power

The PS-15 Truckstar Plus cutter is equipped with a more powerful transformer than the standard model. Now its power is 500 W (instead of 370 W) - this means easier guidance of the blade in the rubber, so you can get the desired cutting effect faster.

Electronic adjustment

The Truckstar Plus model is also distinguished by more precise regulation of the blade's heating power - instead of a 4-stage dial, an electronic system controlled by touch buttons (+) and (-) is used. The power can be adjusted virtually steplessly from 1 to 99% - the set value is indicated by a two-digit alphanumeric display.

Standby mode

Stand-by mode is also a novelty - the cutter goes into stand-by mode 15 minutes after the last power adjustment. This is indicated by two blinking dashes on the display. In this mode, the head handle is not powered. This increases safety in case you forget to turn off the notcher.

Ergonomics and comfort

The pistol grip made of durable plastic with the head is lightweight and properly contoured - it fits well in the hand and makes incising easier. The notcher comes with a wrench with a comfortable wooden handle, used to fix the blades. Installation of the cutters is facilitated by spring-loaded guide clamps. The power cables of the handle with the head are 170 cm long, which makes it easy to manipulate the notcher on large-sized tires.

Safety

To ensure safety, the voltage in the wires connecting the head to the transformer is only 1.5V. The head has a contact heating system - the cutter heats up only when the head is pressed against the tire.
The 230 V cable supplying the transformer is detachable, and its length is 180 cm. Under the socket of the cable there is a mechanical power switch and a drawer containing fuses (active plus one spare).

Practical design

All parts of the notcher are interchangeable - the device is designed to make service and replacement of worn out components as easy as possible. Robust metal housing perfectly protects the interior of the device from mechanical damage, as well as from dust and dirt. Carrying the notcher is facilitated by a metal handle folded on the housing. Ventilation holes in the sides of the housing prevent the transformer from overheating.

• PS15 Truckstar Plus incising machine - transformer module with control panel and handle with incising head connected by 170 cm long cable,
• 20 pcs of R.3 type cut ters in size 7-13 mm. Manufactured by PSO perfectly sharpened and resistant blades that guarantee precise and easy incision of rubber,
• gauge for setting the incision depth - with it you can precisely adjust the seating of the knife, so that it incises the tire to the desired depth (6 positions: from 4 to 9 mm),
• mounting key for the cutters,
• power cord for the transformer module,
• instruction manual (also in Polish).

PS-15 Truckstar Plus jigsaw-cutter by PSO is a product that supports environmental protection. Thanks to the regrooving of treads, the life of tires is extended - by up to 25% of kilometers driven. Less need for new tires means less consumption of raw materials and lower_CO2 emissions, as well as lower vehicle operating costs.
