They are made using a high-grade lead alloy (PB), devoid of admixtures of other metals. This resulted in high flexibility and resistance to cracking. A steel clip is responsible for attaching the weight to the rim. It is deeply sunk, the elements are permanently connected to each other. Such a design provides high resistance to deformation. At the same time, the clip is properly profiled, which is especially important for aluminum rims. This guarantees a secure and long-lasting fixation on the rim edge. Acquisition of the weights is fast and secure.
Lead weights are also smaller in size. This is due to the higher density of the material used. The higher mass concentration allows for more precise wheel balancing. At the same time, lead is resistant to weathering and corrosion.
