Minicombi B8 tire peg with patch from the renowned TipTop Rema brand.

These pins are used to repair nail and similar damage in radial and bias-ply tires, tube and tubeless tires using cold-forming technology.

The pins are an excellent alternative to the commonly used repairs using a patch alone applied at the site of damage. A stud repair results in a more permanent bond between the repair material and the tire. The dowel pin, which is inserted into the hole, prevents the penetration of moisture that could corrode the steel reinforcement. It also protects the hole from further separation of the individual tire layers.

Minicombi pins are covered with an active layer that vulcanizes under the influence of a chemical stimulus, such as patch glue, at temperatures as low as 18°C. Tip Top Special Cement can be used for the pins, but any other commercially available patch glue will also be useful.

The maximum diameter of the damage is 8 mm, the puncture angle is from 15° to 90°. Immediately after repair, the tire is suitable for immediate use.
