This version of the TR414 valve, labeled BRASS / EPDM, belongs to the Premium Quality category. First of all, it is distinguished by the material used in its manufacture:
BRASS: the valve body is made of brass. This achieved a very good corrosion resistance of the valve's metal parts. The use of brass also makes the design of this valve more mechanically robust than the ordinary version of TR414 valves with an aluminum body.
EPDM: unlike the common versions of TR414 valves on the market, this version is coated with synthetic rubber - EPDM rubber. As a result, it is characterized by very good resistance to atmospheric conditions - the effects of moisture, frost, as well as high temperatures. EPDM rubber ensures a higher durability of the valve than versions made of ordinary plastic.
