Pins with patches (commonly known as "mushrooms") are used for "cold" repair of nail and similar damage. The pins can be used to repair radial, bias-ply, tube and tubeless tires.
Effective and durable repair
Studs are an excellent alternative to the commonly used method of repair with a patch applied at the site of damage. A stud repair results in a more permanent bond between the repair material and the tire.
Perfect tightness
The dowel pin, inserted into the hole, prevents the penetration of moisture that could corrode the tire's steel reinforcement. The pin also protects the hole from further separation of the individual layers of the tire.
Easy application
Insertion of the pin into the hole is facilitated by a metal rod embedded in the pin. The dowel is protected by a protective material insulating it from possible contamination during storage. Any adhesive designed for cold repairs can be used for the pins. Immediately after repair, the tire is suitable for immediate use.
