This is an aerosol liquid designed for chemical buffing of inner tubes and for cleaning the tire before mechanical buffing. The use of Liquid Buffer supports a professional repair process.
Before applying a repair insert or patch, the repair area should be cleaned and degreased with Liquid Buffer. This treatment enables further manual removal of the butyl layer inside the tire and on the inner tube. As a result, the rubber does not clog grinding tools during damage preparation. It also improves the performance of the vulcanizing cement/activator.
The liquid also effectively dissolves adhesive tape residues from stick-on wheel weights, making it suitable for cleaning alloy rims before applying new adhesive weights.
