STIX Premium 6mm patch pin
These pins are used for repairing nail and similar damage in radial and bias-ply, tube and tubeless tires using cold-forming technology. They are an alternative to the commonly used repairs by means of a patch applied at the site of damage alone. The advantage of stud repair is that the tire is sealed in the damage channel, so that moisture that can cause corrosion of the tire's steel reinforcement does not enter the tire. This is a more permanent bond between the repair material and the tire. The pins have a metal pin. Immediately after the repair, you need to wait about an hour for the tire to be usable. They can be glued with patch adhesives available on our other auctions. The pins are covered with active rubber, which is activated with any patch glue available on the market.
