SPS brand (Stix Power Star) lead-based wheel weights for steel rims. Manufactured to the highest standards, using an advanced technological process. Recognised on the Polish market as a top quality, durable and repeatable product. Widely used in vulcanisation services. A basic product for seasonal tyre replacement.
They are made from a high-grade lead alloy (PB), free from admixtures of other metals. This results in high flexibility and resistance to breakage. A steel clip secures the weight to the rim. It is deeply sunken and the components are firmly connected with each other. This construction ensures high deformation resistance. The clip is also profiled to ensure secure, long-lasting fastening on the rim edge. Loading of the weights is fast and secure.
Lead weights are also smaller in size. This is due to the higher density of the material used. The higher mass concentration allows more precise wheel balancing. Lead is also weather-resistant and corrosion-resistant.
