Straight pneumatic hose 15m (10/17mm) - PCL
For pneumatic installations
Straight (non-spiral) and reinforced pneumatic hose of PCL brand. It will find use in most typical industrial and workshop pneumatic installations as an accessory for compressors to connect pneumatic tools and machines.
Modern material
PCL pneumatic hose is made of modern PTE plastic, which is a special blend of rubber and PVC. This plastic (black in color) looks and behaves like rubber, but is devoid of the disadvantages of rubber material while retaining its advantages. It does not contain silicone.
Durable construction
The hose is characterized by high resistance to abrasion. It is also resistant to the adverse effects of chemicals most commonly encountered in workshop conditions, such as oils and fuels. The hose is reinforced with an inner polyester braid, which minimizes the risk of deformation under pressure. The hose's crimped quick-release couplings are made of hardened steel and coated with an anti-corrosion coating.
Functionality
The hose's good flexibility, resistance to kinking and small bending radius make it easy to use. It is available in popular lengths (5, 10, 15 or 20m) complete with crimped ends - "euro" type quick disconnects (PCL XF-Euro series). These quick-connect couplings are distinguished by high flow rate and low resistance, which positively affects the performance of pneumatic tools.
High performance and safety
The hose can operate in a temperature range from -10˚C to 60˚C. The maximum working pressure is 21 bar. The operation of PCL hoses is safe due to the adopted high safety factor of 3:1. This means that the hose will burst only at a pressure of three times the maximum working pressure (63 bar).
Requirements and standards
The product complies with: ISO 5774:2008 (BS 6066:1981) and meets the requirements of BS EN ISO 2398:1997 (BS 5118:1980).
