The STT sockets can be used with air wrenches (including impact wrenches), gear wrenches and other wrenches with 1/2" shank size (fits Stix STT series wrenches, among others). The specially shaped part connecting the sockets to the wrench stem makes it easier to change the sockets and reduces wear on the handle. The sockets can be locked on the wrench with a ball catch or with a pin and ring (depending on the design of the wrench).
