Impact Sockets 1/2" STT CR-MO SERIES 1 – 17, 19, 21 mm for Alloy Wheels
For alloy wheels
These sockets are designed for loosening and tightening bolts or nuts securing alloy wheels. The CR-MO SERIES 1 impact sockets ensure protection for delicate surfaces of light alloy rims during tasks related to their removal and installation.
External Cover
The external plastic cover shields the surface of the alloy wheel from potential scratches that may occur if the socket accidentally strikes the rim.
Internal Insert
The sockets are also equipped with internal plastic inserts. Their purpose is to prevent damage to the coatings of the wheel nuts or bolts.
1/2" Square Drive
These sockets can be used with pneumatic or cordless impact wrenches that have a 1/2" square drive shank. The well-designed connection between the socket and the wrench shank makes it easier to swap sockets and reduces wear on the holder. The sockets can be secured to the wrench with a ball detent or by using a pin and ring (depending on the wrench’s construction).
Durable CrMo Steel
The CR-MO SERIES 1 sockets are well-suited for impact work – they are made from a special type of CrMo steel (chromium-molybdenum alloy), which is used in the production of high-quality drill bits and wrenches. The addition of chromium and molybdenum as alloying elements increases the tools' resistance to wear, as well as their tolerance to high temperatures and corrosion.
Set of 3 Sockets
The SERIES 1 set consists of 3 sockets in the following sizes:
- 17 mm,
- 19 mm,
- 21 mm.
This set covers the most commonly encountered bolt and nut sizes used for securing wheels in passenger cars.
Long – 79 mm
The socket length is 79 mm, and the wall thickness, including the cover, is approximately 4.4 mm. This allows access to deeper-seated bolts or nuts. The specially shaped socket profile reduces the risk of slipping on slightly rounded nuts and bolt heads. The socket design ensures optimal power transmission and lowers vibration levels during work.
Color Coding
Each type of socket is in a different color, making it easier to quickly identify the correct size during work. Additionally, the socket size is permanently marked with laser engraving.
Practical Case
The sockets are stored in a plastic case that facilitates easy storage and transportation.
